If you are looking for good and inexpensive polystyrene for floor insulation, the Genderka product is an excellent choice. EPS 80 polystyrene (resistance to pressure 2.4t/m2) is a good solution for floors that are not heavily loaded to a reasonable layer. We recommend laying up to 12 cm. On unloaded ceilings layers can be up to 25 cm.

The thermal insulation coefficiency is 0.038 W/mK. The fire reaction class E guarantees safety. Other important parameters include dimensional stability in constant normal laboratory conditions DS(N)5 ± 0.5%.

The compressive strength of eps 80 is 80 kPa – this is not the best possible coefficient, but it is completely sufficient for use in home conditions and is also suitable for underfloor heating.

The insulating properties of styrofoam allow for protection against  cold and noise . In addition, the product perfectly insulates against vibrations, which is especially important in the case of floors on the first floor.

Remember that it is recommended to lay the polystyrene in at least two layers in a staggered pattern.
